Terms of service
These terms govern your use of EmailExtractor at emailextractor.ai. By creating an account you agree to them. Last updated 17 September 2026.
What the service is
EmailExtractor finds work email addresses from a name and a company domain or from a company domain alone, verifies email addresses against the receiving mail server, and exports the results. The service is provided as it is described on this site at the time you subscribe.
Your account
- You need a confirmed email address to hold an account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials and API tokens secret.
- Seats are included in your plan and are for named people in your organisation. Sharing one login across a team is not a substitute for seats.
- We may suspend an account that is being used in a way these terms prohibit, and we tell you why.
Plans
Every plan is a subscription. There are no one off purchases, no credit packs and no pay as you go pricing on this service.
- Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, in United States dollars, by card.
- A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it.
- Prices are the ones shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe.
- Enterprise agreements may be invoiced against a purchase order with net terms instead.
Monthly limits
Your plan includes a number of verified finds each month. Only a verified result counts against that number. A find that fails verification, a catch-all result, a suppressed address and a duplicate do not count.
Your limit renews with your billing period. Unused volume within a period does not carry over and does not convert into a refund.
Changing and cancelling
- You can change plan at any time from inside the account, prorated against the period you already paid for.
- You can cancel at any time. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing renews after that.
- We do not charge a cancellation fee and we do not require notice.
What you may not do with the results
This matters more here than on most services, because the output is contact data about real people.
You are the sender. The legal responsibility for what you send, to whom, and under which regime, is yours.
- Do not send unsolicited bulk mail in breach of the law that applies to you or to the recipient.
- Do not use the results to contact private individuals about non business matters.
- Do not resell raw results as a data product, or republish them as a public directory.
- Do not upload lists you have no lawful basis to process.
- Do not attempt to identify private individuals, build profiles of them or combine our output with data that does so.
- Do not circumvent the limits of your plan, share API tokens outside your organisation or run automated access outside the published rate limits.
- Honour the suppression list. An address we tell you is suppressed must not be contacted through data obtained here.
Your data
Lists you upload and results you generate belong to you. We process them to run the service, we do not sell them and we do not share them with other customers. Deleting your account removes them, subject to the retention rules in the privacy policy.
Our data and the service
The software, the index, the interface and the documentation are ours and stay ours. Your subscription grants a right to use the service, not a right to its underlying data as an asset.
Data protection
Where we process data on your instruction we act as processor, and Enterprise customers sign a data processing agreement covering it. The full description is in the privacy policy and the controls are on the security page.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available at all times, and we perform maintenance with as little interruption as we can. A written uptime commitment with a named response window is part of the Enterprise plan. Other plans are provided without an uptime guarantee.
What we do not warrant
Verification reports what the receiving mail server told us at the time of the check. A mailbox can close between the check and your send, and a catch-all server confirms nothing about an individual mailbox, which is why we label those rows. We do not warrant that every address returned will accept mail, and we do not warrant any commercial outcome from your campaigns.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability under these terms in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for lost profits, lost pipeline, loss of sender reputation or indirect losses.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we tell account holders by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
