Dropcontact pricing and the cost per 1,000 found emails on every plan

TL;DR. Dropcontact Email Finder starts at 29 EUR a month for 500 credits and reaches 303 EUR for 11,000 credits on Growth, with 20% off when billed yearly. Credits are spent only on found emails. Per 1,000 found emails the plans run from about 15 EUR to 70 EUR. A US team prospecting by name and company domain often pays less per verified email with a finder priced in dollars.

How much does Dropcontact cost?

Dropcontact Email Finder plans are priced in euros. Starter runs from 29 EUR a month for 500 credits to 199 EUR for 11,000 credits on monthly billing, or 24 EUR to 166 EUR a month billed yearly. Growth costs more at each size, from 35 EUR for 500 credits to 303 EUR for 11,000 credits monthly.

Credits a monthStarter monthlyStarter yearlyGrowth monthlyGrowth yearly
500 29 EUR 24 EUR 35 EUR 29 EUR
1,500 59 EUR 49 EUR 72 EUR 60 EUR
4,000 79 EUR 66 EUR 120 EUR 100 EUR
11,000 199 EUR 166 EUR 303 EUR 253 EUR

Every figure is the price per month taken from the Email Finder plans on Dropcontact's pricing page, read on November 1, 2026. Yearly plans are charged as one annual amount and show a 20% saving. Bigger sizes exist up to 150,000 credits a month, and above 200,000 credits Dropcontact sells a custom Enterprise plan through its sales team. Prices are in euros and we have not converted them, because your card rate and VAT treatment change the dollar figure.

Starter or Growth, what changes

Both plans include email finding, native email validation with catch-all checks, file enrichment for csv, xls and txt, a Google Sheets add-on, API and MCP access, and email support. Growth adds credit carryover, LinkedIn URL enrichment, job cleaning, AI job classification, company change detection, company name to domain matching and company data enrichment. At 11,000 credits, Growth costs 104 EUR more each month than Starter, so that gap only pays for itself if you use the enrichment fields or need unused credits to carry forward.

The CRM enrichment subscription for Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive is a separate plan. Dropcontact says Email Finder credits cannot be used to enrich a CRM, so check which of the two you are actually buying before you compare it with anything else.

Does Dropcontact have a free plan?

Dropcontact gives 50 free credits on both Starter and Growth when you try it. There is no recurring free monthly allowance listed on the pricing page. Fifty credits is enough to test your own name and company list, but not to judge hit rate on a few thousand contacts.

Does Dropcontact charge for emails it cannot find?

No. Dropcontact states that when an email is not found, the credit is returned to you, and the plans are labeled pay on success. You spend credits on found emails only. Confirm how it treats catch-all results in your own trial file before budgeting a large run.

Found emails

The 500 credit plan gives you 500 found emails. That is the unit you are paying for, so the table price divided by credits is a real per email cost.

Misses

A contact with no email found is re-credited. Your budget only moves on hits, which makes hit rate the number that decides what you really pay.

Carryover

Growth lets you keep credits from one month to the next while a paid subscription stays active. Starter renews the quota at each due date.

Single-file jobs

Dropcontact says you can subscribe, enrich one file, then cancel. The cancellation applies at your next billing date, so you keep the month you paid for.

Dropcontact cost per 1,000 found emails

Dividing the plan price by its credits gives the cost per found email at full use. The smallest plan is the expensive one. Starter 500 costs 58 EUR per 1,000 on monthly billing, while Starter 11,000 costs about 18 EUR. Growth monthly runs from 70 EUR per 1,000 at 500 credits to 27.55 EUR at 11,000 credits, and 23 EUR per 1,000 if you pay yearly.

One oddity in the list: the 1,500 credit Starter plan is 59 EUR a month while 4,000 credits is 79 EUR, so the second step adds 2,500 credits for 20 EUR. If you need between 1,500 and 4,000 emails a month, the larger plan is the cheaper way to buy.

A 3,000 contact list worked out

Say an agency has 3,000 names with company domains and wants one work email each. Suppose 70% are found, which is an assumption for the example and not a Dropcontact claim. That is 2,100 found emails and 900 credits returned.

On Dropcontact you would pick the 4,000 credit Starter plan at 79 EUR for one month, since 1,500 credits cannot cover 2,100 hits. Net spend is 79 EUR for 2,100 emails, about 37.62 EUR per 1,000 found, because most of the 4,000 credits are never used. If you keep the plan for a second month, the unspent quota does not carry on Starter. Growth at the same size is 120 EUR for the same list.

On EmailExtractor, a miss is never billed, so 2,100 found emails use 2,100 of your plan finds. Growth at $149 a month includes 5,000 finds and 10 seats, which covers this list and leaves 2,900 finds for the next batch the same month. That works out to about $62.58 for the 2,100 hits if you count only what you used, or $149 for the full month of capacity. Compare both numbers with your own hit rate before you decide.

Dropcontact against a dollar-priced finder

Dropcontact is built around European data protection, with processing on EU servers and a CNIL audit, and it connects to Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive. If your legal team asks for that, it is a real reason to buy it. If your contacts are in the US and you want dollar invoices, seats for the whole team and a flat monthly limit, the comparison below is the one to run.

PlanMonthly priceFinds a monthPer 1,000 finds
Dropcontact Starter199 EUR11,00018.09 EUR
Dropcontact Growth303 EUR11,00027.55 EUR
EmailExtractor Starter$491,000$49.00
EmailExtractor Growth$1495,000$29.80
EmailExtractor Scale$39920,000$19.95

Dropcontact Starter is cheaper per find from 4,000 credits a month upward, and it wins on CRM integrations, GDPR positioning and job-change alerts. We win on team size, since Growth includes 10 seats and Scale unlimited seats with API access, and on yearly pricing, where Growth drops to $74 a month. Compare the full EmailExtractor plans and read our Hunter.io alternative page for a cost per usable email worked the same way.

How to pick a Dropcontact plan

  1. Count contacts, not emails. Your list size times your expected hit rate gives the credits you will use. Credits returned on misses stay in the quota.
  2. Pick the size by the table. The jump from 1,500 to 4,000 credits adds the most volume per euro, so skip the middle size for lists above 2,000 hits.
  3. Decide on carryover. If your volume swings from month to month, Growth carryover can be worth the premium. If it is steady, Starter is enough.
  4. Test with the free 50. Run a sample of your own contacts and measure the hit rate before paying for a bigger size.

Which should you buy, Dropcontact or a US finder?

Buy Dropcontact when GDPR processing on EU servers or a native CRM integration is a requirement. Buy a US finder when you want to pay in dollars, share seats across a sales team and keep the monthly cost flat. EmailExtractor finds work emails from a name and company domain and shows the company page behind each address, so reps can check the match before they send.

EmailExtractor Starter costs $49 monthly or $288 yearly, with 1,000 finds per month and 2 seats. Growth costs $149 monthly or $888 yearly, with 5,000 finds per month and 10 seats. Scale costs $399 monthly or $2,388 yearly, with 20,000 finds per month, unlimited seats and API access. Once the first outreach goes out and replies start arriving, an AI assistant for Gmail and Outlook can sort them so your reps stay on the conversations that matter.
