ZeroBounce pay as you go pricing
Pay as you go is a one-off purchase of credits. You upload a list, or call the API, and each validation uses one credit. ZeroBounce's pricing page confirms the entry point, $39 for 2,000, and its billing FAQ confirms the rule behind the rest: the bigger the block, the lower the price per credit. The full ladder below is the one published in the independent breakdowns we checked in September 2026. Confirm the figure at checkout, because ZeroBounce also runs a 15 percent discount for autopay.
| Credits bought | Price | Cost per email | Cost per 10,000 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2,000 | $39 | $0.0195 | $195 |
| 5,000 | $69 | $0.0138 | $138 |
| 10,000 | $129 | $0.0129 | $129 |
| 25,000 | $274 | $0.011 | $110 |
| 50,000 | $499 | $0.010 | $100 |
| 100,000 | $649 | $0.0065 | $65 |
| 250,000 | $1,299 | $0.0052 | $52 |
| 500,000 | $2,199 | $0.0044 | $44 |
| 1,000,000 | $3,199 | $0.0032 | $32 |
| Over 1,000,000 a month | Quoted | Enterprise pricing | Quoted |
Two quirks are worth noticing. The 25,000 and 50,000 blocks cost almost the same per email, so the real break point is 100,000, where the rate falls by a third. And because pay as you go credits never expire, buying a larger block than you need this month is a genuine saving here, unlike at NeverBounce, where credits lapse after 12 months.
ZeroBounce ONE subscription pricing
ZeroBounce ONE is the subscription. It costs $99 a month, or $79 a month on yearly billing, and includes 10,000 validation or AI scoring credits each month. The monthly credit amount can be raised, with 10,000 as the minimum. It also bundles the deliverability tools: inbox placement tests, blacklist monitoring and email server tests.
| Line | ZeroBounce ONE |
|---|---|
| Price | $99 a month, or $79 a month billed yearly |
| Credits included | 10,000 a month, adjustable upward |
| Cost per validation | about $0.0099, or $0.0079 yearly |
| Unused credits | Kept while the subscription is active |
| Extra credits | 15 percent off pay as you go prices |
| Also included | Inbox tests, blacklist monitoring, server tests |
ONE only beats pay as you go if you use the extras or you verify at least 8,000 to 10,000 addresses every month. A team that cleans one 10,000 row list a quarter pays $129 each time on pay as you go and $297 over the same quarter on ONE. Reviewers in 2026 also point out that the base ONE plan used to include 25,000 credits and now includes 10,000, so older comparisons overstate what $99 buys.
ZeroBounce API pricing and email finder credits
There is no separate API plan. The API draws on the same credit balance as the dashboard, at the same rates per task. What changes the bill is which task you call.
| Task | Credits | At the 10,000 credit price | On ONE |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email validation | 1 per address | $0.013 | about $0.01 |
| AI scoring | 1 per address | $0.013 | about $0.01 |
| Email finder | 20 per successful search | about $0.26 | about $0.20 |
| Unknown result or duplicate | 0 | free | free |
The finder row is the one to read twice. At 20 credits a result, ONE's 10,000 monthly credits buy 500 found addresses and nothing else. ZeroBounce is priced as a verifier, and its finder is priced as an add-on. If most of your spend will be on finding addresses rather than cleaning them, compare it with tools that bill one credit per result, such as our email finder, where a verified find costs 4.9 cents on Starter and under 3 cents on Growth.
What a ZeroBounce credit pays for, and what it does not
ZeroBounce's billing FAQ is specific about two free outcomes: it does not charge for unknown results or for removing duplicates. That is better than NeverBounce, which publishes no exemption at all. Catch-all is a different story. It is not on the free list, so every catch-all row uses a credit even though the server could not confirm the person exists. ZeroBounce's AI scoring can help rank those rows, but scoring is a second credit per address.
The real cost per usable address
A worked example with the assumptions stated. You clean a 20,000 row B2B list before a campaign and buy the 25,000 credit block for $274; the 5,000 left over stay on the account. Assume 3 percent unknown, 20 percent catch-all, which is normal on a list heavy with small companies, and 8 percent invalid.
| Line | Rows | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Credits used | 19,400 | about $213 at $0.011 |
| Valid, safe to send | 13,800 | about $0.015 each |
| Catch-all, still unconfirmed | 4,000 | billed, still a risk |
| Invalid, removed | 1,600 | billed, and worth it |
| Unknown | 600 | free |
About a cent and a half per confirmed address, roughly double what the same list costs on NeverBounce and about three times MillionVerifier. What ZeroBounce buys you for the difference is the free unknown rows, credits that never expire and, on ONE, a deliverability toolkit that most pure verifiers do not have.
ZeroBounce pricing compared
Prices for about 10,000 verifications, read from each vendor's pricing page and help center in September 2026 and in our best email verifier for cold email comparison. Rates change, so check before you buy.
| Tool | About 10,000 verifications | Free results | Credits expire | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ZeroBounce | $129 pay as you go, or $99 a month on ONE | Unknown, duplicates | Never | Verification plus inbox and blacklist monitoring |
| NeverBounce | $80 pay as you go, or $49 a month on Growth | None published | 12 months | Automatic cleaning of a CRM or email platform |
| MillionVerifier | $39 | Catch-all, unknown | Never | The lowest price for one-off list cleaning |
| Bouncer | $60 | Unknown | Check at purchase | EU data handling and a clean interface |
| EmailExtractor | Plans from $49 a month | Unconfirmed, invalid, disposable, duplicates | Monthly plan allowance | Finding new work addresses with verification built in |
To be straight about our own row: if all you need is to scrub a file you already own, a pay as you go verifier is cheaper than any of our plans, and MillionVerifier is the cheapest of all. We are a finder first. We check syntax, the domain and its MX records, disposable domains and typos, but we do not run the mailbox check at the mail server that ZeroBounce does, and a bulk email verification job on your own list counts one find per address that passes our checks and nothing for the rest.
Is ZeroBounce worth it for your team?
ZeroBounce fits if
You send marketing email at volume and want verification, inbox placement tests and blacklist monitoring from one vendor. Or you clean lists a few times a year and like that credits never expire. At 100,000 credits and up, the per email rate is competitive.
Look elsewhere if
Your main job is finding addresses, not cleaning them, because 20 credits per found email makes ZeroBounce one of the most expensive finders. The same goes for lists full of catch-all small businesses that you do not want to pay for. A verifier that does not bill catch-all rows suits those lists better.
One last cost that no pricing page shows: a clean list only pays off if someone reads the replies. Outbound teams that send from several mailboxes to protect their domain often miss answers spread across them, so it is worth setting up a way to read every sending mailbox in one inbox before the campaign starts.
ZeroBounce pricing questions
How much does ZeroBounce cost?
ZeroBounce pay as you go starts at $39 for 2,000 verification credits, which is about 2 cents an email, and falls to about a third of a cent at 1,000,000 credits. The ZeroBounce ONE subscription costs $99 a month, or $79 a month billed yearly, for 10,000 credits a month plus its deliverability tools.
Do ZeroBounce credits expire?
Pay as you go credits do not expire; ZeroBounce's billing FAQ says so directly. Credits that come with ZeroBounce ONE do not expire either, as long as the subscription stays active. That makes pay as you go the safer buy for teams that clean lists a few times a year rather than every month.
Does ZeroBounce charge for catch-all emails?
ZeroBounce's billing FAQ names two outcomes it does not charge for: unknown results and removed duplicates. Catch-all is not on that list, so budget for every catch-all row to use a credit. On B2B lists heavy with small companies, catch-all results are often 15 to 25 percent of the file.
Does ZeroBounce have a free plan?
Yes. The free plan gives 100 validation credits a month, 10 email finder credits, one inbox placement test, one email server test and one blacklist monitor. That is enough to test the interface and a handful of addresses. It is not enough to judge accuracy on a real list.
How much is the ZeroBounce API?
There is no separate API price. API calls use the same credits as file uploads: one credit per validation, one per AI scoring check and 20 credits for each successful email finder query. A signup form checking 3,000 addresses a month uses 3,000 credits, which fits inside ONE's 10,000.
How much does the ZeroBounce email finder cost?
The ZeroBounce email finder costs 20 credits for each successful search. At the 10,000 credit pay as you go price that is about 26 cents per address found, and on ONE about 20 cents. Searches that find nothing are not charged. Finders that bill 1 credit per result usually cost 2 to 5 cents instead.
