RocketReach pricing plans and cost in 2026, worked out per exported contact

RocketReach costs $19 a month for Essentials, $52 for Pro and $115 for Ultimate per seat on yearly billing, or $39, $79 and $169 month to month. Lookups are unlimited up to 10,000 a month, but exports are capped at 1,200, 3,600 or 20,000 a year, so the real price is about 7 to 19 cents per contact you can move into your CRM, and up to 33 cents on the higher price list some visitors see.

RocketReach plans and prices

RocketReach sells three self-serve plans per seat and a custom team tier. The figures below come from rocketreach.co/pricing and its unlimited lookups FAQ, re-checked in a browser on 14 October 2026. RocketReach does not show every visitor the same list (more on that below), so trust the price your own checkout shows over any blog, including this one, on the day you buy.

On monthly billing (the figures in brackets) lookups are not unlimited: you get 100 lookups and 100 exports a month on Essentials, 250 of each on Pro and 1,000 of each on Ultimate. RocketReach advertises savings of up to 50 percent for paying yearly, and adding a seat takes 5 percent off.

Why RocketReach prices differ from one guide to the next

How much does RocketReach cost depends on when and where you look. We have now seen three different price lists on the same rocketreach.co/pricing page within three weeks. On 28 September and again on 14 October it showed $19, $52 and $115 a month yearly ($229, $619 and $1,379 a year) and $39, $79 and $169 month to month. On 12 October it showed $33, $75 and $142 a month yearly. US guides that checked it in August and on 6 October report $27, $69 and $142 a month yearly ($329, $829 and $1,699) and $49, $99 and $209 month to month. Older posts quote $80 to $300 per user. The export caps were identical on every list. RocketReach does not explain the gap, so price testing or location-based pricing is the likely cause.

The safe way to budget is to take the price your own checkout shows, then divide it by exports, not lookups. At $229 a year Essentials works out to 19 cents per exported contact; at $399 it is 33 cents. Either way the export cap, not the sticker price, decides what a usable email costs.

Is RocketReach really unlimited?

No, and this is the one rule that decides your cost. On annual plans, lookups are unlimited under a fair use cap of 10,000 a month, which is written into RocketReach's own FAQ. A lookup only reveals the contact inside RocketReach. The moment you want that contact anywhere else, it costs an export, and exports are capped.

ActionUses a lookupUses an export
Reveal an email or phone in the web app or extensionYes, refunded if nothing verified is foundNo
Download contacts as a CSVYesYes
Upload a list to enrich itYesYes
Bulk lookupsYesYes
API lookupsYesYes
Push to Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach or SalesloftYesYes

So an Essentials seat can look at thousands of profiles a month but take only about 100 of them out, on average. If your reps copy addresses by hand from the extension into Gmail, the lookup rule is what matters. If your workflow is list, CSV, sequencer or CRM, the export cap is your real allowance.

RocketReach cost per exported contact

The table uses the lowest list we saw on 14 October; on the higher lists add up to 14 cents per contact on Essentials, 8 cents on Pro and 1.6 cents on Ultimate. Divide the yearly price by the yearly export cap and you get what one contact you can actually use costs, assuming you use the whole allowance. Unused exports do not carry into the next year's price, so a seat that exports half its cap pays double per contact.

PlanPrice a yearExports a yearCost per exported contactAt half the cap used
Essentials$2291,200$0.19$0.38
Pro$6193,600$0.17$0.34
Ultimate$1,37920,000$0.069$0.14
EmailExtractor Starter$58812,000 verified finds$0.049$0.098

The comparison is fair only for email. A Pro or Ultimate export also carries phone numbers, and phones are what many teams buy RocketReach for. If your team dials, RocketReach's Pro price per contact is reasonable. If your team only emails, you are paying for a phone column you never use.

What RocketReach costs a five person SDR team

A worked example with the assumptions stated. Five SDRs each add about 300 new contacts a month to the CRM, 18,000 a year in total, and the team sends email only. CRM integrations start on Pro, so Essentials is out.

OptionYearly costContacts coveredNotes
RocketReach Pro, 5 seatsAbout $4,495 before multi-seat discounts18,000 exportsIncludes phones and the contact database
RocketReach custom teamFrom $6,000Pooled, negotiatedWorth a quote above about 8 seats
EmailExtractor Growth$1,78860,000 verified finds, 10 seatsEmail only, native HubSpot, Pipedrive and Salesforce export

The gap is large because the two products are not the same thing. RocketReach tells your reps who to contact: search 700 million profiles by title, company and location, see org charts, reveal phones. We do not do that. We take a name and a company domain you already have and return the most likely work address with its evidence, and we charge only when the company published it. Teams that build account lists by hand from LinkedIn, event lists or their own CRM rarely need the database part. Our decision maker email finder covers that workflow for executives and budget owners.

Is RocketReach worth the price?

RocketReach fits if

You need to discover people, not just contact them. It is strong outside tech, covers personal emails, and its Bullhorn integration makes it a common pick for agency recruiters. Recruiting teams that also want candidates sourced and screened for them can pair it with an AI recruiter that sources and ranks candidates. At 20,000 exports a year, Ultimate is good value for heavy users.

Look elsewhere if

You already know who you want to reach and only need a working address. Paying for a seat, a database and a phone column to fill one email field costs four to seven times more per contact than a per-result finder. The same holds for small teams on Essentials, where 100 exports a month runs out in a week of real prospecting. Our RocketReach alternative page puts that cost per contact next to a per-result finder.

Whichever tool you pick, run older exports through bulk email verification before a campaign. RocketReach refunds lookups that return nothing, but an export that bounces three months later still counted.

RocketReach pricing questions

How much does RocketReach cost per month?

RocketReach costs $19 a month for Essentials ($229 a year), $52 a month for Pro ($619 a year) and $115 a month for Ultimate ($1,379 a year) per seat on annual billing, as shown on rocketreach.co on 14 October 2026. Month to month it is $39, $79 and $169. Other visitors have been shown higher lists, up to $33, $75 and $142 a month yearly, and custom team plans start at $6,000 a year.

Is RocketReach free?

You can create a free RocketReach account without a credit card, and it includes 5 lookups in total. That is 5 contacts once, not 5 a month. It is enough to check the interface and see whether a few people you know are in the database, not enough to judge data quality on a real prospect list.

Is RocketReach really unlimited?

Only lookups are unlimited, and only on annual plans. RocketReach's own FAQ sets a fair use cap of 10,000 lookups a month. Exports are capped separately at 1,200, 3,600 or 20,000 a year depending on the plan, and CSV downloads, list uploads, bulk lookups, API calls and CRM pushes all use exports.

What is the difference between a lookup and an export in RocketReach?

A lookup reveals a contact's email or phone inside RocketReach. An export moves that contact out, as a CSV or into a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot. Because almost every outbound workflow needs the contact in another tool, the export cap, not the lookup count, decides how many people a plan really gives you.

Does RocketReach charge for lookups that fail?

No. RocketReach's pricing FAQ says a lookup is used only when it finds and verifies an email or phone, and is refunded otherwise. Exports are a separate allowance, so exporting a contact whose email later bounces still uses one of your yearly exports.

Can I cancel RocketReach anytime?

Yes, from the account page, but cancellation takes effect at the end of the term you already paid for. On an annual plan that means you keep access for the rest of the year and do not get the unused months back, so start on monthly billing if you are not sure the tool fits.
