How much does Clearbit cost in 2026?
For a new buyer, Clearbit costs whatever the HubSpot seat costs, because that is the only way to buy it. HubSpot acquired Clearbit at the end of 2023, relaunched the data as Breeze Intelligence at INBOUND 2024, and has since folded it into the CRM as data enrichment, form shortening and buyer intent. Standalone Clearbit plans are not offered to new customers.
HubSpot's help center is clear on the main point: enrichment is available on the Starter, Professional and Enterprise tiers of Marketing, Sales, Service, Data and Content Hub, and it does not consume HubSpot Credits. Smart CRM and Revenue Hub need Professional or above. The free CRM does not include it.
| What you want from Clearbit | Where it lives now | What it costs |
|---|---|---|
| Fill job title, company size and industry on records | HubSpot data enrichment | Included on paid seats, no credits |
| Shorter forms that prefill company fields | HubSpot form shortening | Uses the enrichment database, no credit rate listed |
| See which companies visit your site | HubSpot buyer intent | 10 credits per tracked company a month |
| Find an email from a name in Gmail | Retired with Clearbit Connect | Not available; use an email finder |
| Call an enrichment API from your own code | HubSpot CRM API on enriched records | The HubSpot seat |
HubSpot lists Starter Customer Platform at $20 a seat a month. When we loaded the page on 14 October 2026 it also showed a promotion for new customers of $7 a seat a month paid yearly, or $10 month to month. Professional and Enterprise tiers cost considerably more and add the higher credit allowances below.
How much does Breeze Intelligence cost in HubSpot Credits?
The Breeze Intelligence name still shows up in reviews with credit packs of 100 or 1,000 credits a month. Those packs are not in HubSpot's current Product and Services Catalog, which no longer mentions Breeze Intelligence at all. Today the metered parts run on general HubSpot Credits. The catalog prices them at $0.01 each on pay as you go, billed in steps of 10, or $10 for each extra capacity pack of 1,000.
| Action | Credits | At $0.01 a credit | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enrich a contact or company | 0 | $0 | Paid Starter and up |
| Track one company's intent signals for a month | 10 | $0.10 | Recurring while tracked |
| Create one company from a market segment | 10 | $0.10 | Beta, one time |
| Monitor one company for one custom signal for a month | 50 | $0.50 | Beta, recurring |
| One Data agent response on one record | 10 | $0.10 | AI research on a record |
| One Prospecting agent recommendation for one lead | 100 | $1.00 | AI outreach suggestion |
Every paid plan includes a monthly allowance that is spent before you pay for credits. On Smart CRM and the Marketing, Sales, Service, Content and Revenue Hubs it is 500 credits on Starter, 3,000 on Professional and 5,000 on Enterprise. Data Hub and Customer Platform give 500, 5,000 and 10,000. Allowances are not added together across products.
A worked example. You want intent signals on 400 target accounts and you are on a Professional Hub. Tracking costs 4,000 credits a month. Your 3,000 included credits cover most of it, and the other 1,000 cost $10. Browsing the visitor and research tabs is free, and HubSpot does not charge per visit or per identified company, so bot traffic does not drain the balance.
What is Clearbit API pricing now?
There is no new Clearbit API plan to buy. Before the acquisition, developers paid Clearbit directly for enrichment and prospecting endpoints. Now the data lands on HubSpot records, and your code reads those properties through the HubSpot CRM API under the seat you already pay for. The free Logo API, the last free Clearbit endpoint, was retired on December 1, 2025.
That works if HubSpot is your system of record. It is awkward if you built Clearbit calls into your own product or a non-HubSpot pipeline, because you now need a HubSpot account in the middle. Teams in that spot usually split the job: a CRM for firmographics, and a separate email finder API for the one field enrichment cannot create.
Can Clearbit find email addresses?
Not the way it used to. HubSpot's help center says contact enrichment uses first name, last name and work email to match a record. The email is an input. Clearbit Connect, the Gmail and Outlook sidebar that returned an email for any name and company, was switched off on April 30, 2025 together with the free platform, the Weekly Visitor Report, the TAM Calculator and the free Slack app.
This is the gap most buyers fall into after paying for HubSpot. The records fill up with titles and headcounts, and the email column for new prospects is still empty. Our Clearbit alternative page walks through that split in detail. In short, you keep HubSpot for enrichment and use a finder to get the address from a name and a company domain. On Growth, verified finds push straight into HubSpot contacts.
One more cost worth budgeting. Enrichment adds personal data to every contact record, and US privacy laws such as California's give people the right to ask what you hold about them. If you sell into regulated or privacy-sensitive accounts, have a way to find where a person's data lives across your systems before the first access request arrives.
Clearbit pricing compared with an email finder
These tools are bought for different jobs, so compare them on the job you need done this quarter.
| HubSpot with Clearbit data | EmailExtractor | |
|---|---|---|
| Main job | Enrich records, intent, CRM | Find and verify a work email |
| Entry price | $20 a seat a month list, promo from $7 | $49 a month or $288 a year, 2 seats |
| Finds a missing email | Not described | Yes, with the company page behind it |
| Firmographic fields | Yes | No |
| Metered unit | Credits for intent and AI, enrichment free | Verified finds only, misses free |
| API | CRM API | REST API and webhooks on Scale |
If you are on HubSpot already, enrichment is the cheapest part of your stack, because it is free on the seat. Pay for an email finder only for the rows where the email is blank. If you are not on HubSpot, buying seats just to get Clearbit data rarely makes sense. Look at Apollo.io pricing for a database with enrichment, or the email enrichment tool here for filling email columns from a CSV.
Is Clearbit worth it in 2026?
Inside HubSpot, yes: enrichment at no extra cost on a paid seat is hard to argue with, and intent at 10 cents per tracked account is cheap for a focused account list. Outside HubSpot, the answer is usually no, because you would pay for a CRM to reach data you can get elsewhere. And for the job Clearbit Connect used to do, it is not an option at all.
Clearbit pricing questions
How much does Clearbit cost?
Clearbit no longer has its own price list for new buyers. Its data is sold as part of HubSpot, where contact and company enrichment is included on paid Starter, Professional and Enterprise plans and uses no HubSpot Credits. HubSpot lists Starter Customer Platform at $20 a seat a month, with a new customer promotion of $7 to $10 a seat.
Is Clearbit still free?
No. Clearbit ended its free platform, Clearbit Connect, the Weekly Visitor Report, the TAM Calculator and the free Slack integration on April 30, 2025, and stopped creating free accounts. The free Logo API was retired on December 1, 2025. HubSpot's free CRM does not include enrichment; it starts on paid seats.
What is Clearbit API pricing now?
HubSpot does not sell new standalone Clearbit API plans. New buyers reach the data through HubSpot: enrichment runs inside the CRM, and your own code reads the enriched properties through the HubSpot CRM API. If you need an endpoint that returns a work email from a name and domain, that is an email finder API, priced separately.
How much does Breeze Intelligence cost?
Basic enrichment costs nothing extra on a paid HubSpot seat. Buyer intent is metered in HubSpot Credits: tracking one company's intent signals costs 10 credits a month and monitoring one company for a custom signal costs 50. Credits cost $0.01 each, or $10 per 1,000 pack, after the 500 to 10,000 a month your plan includes.
Does HubSpot data enrichment use credits?
No. HubSpot's help center states that data enrichment does not consume HubSpot Credits. Smart properties, buyer intent tracking, adding companies from intent and some AI features do. Automatic enrichment is off by default and a Super Admin has to switch it on for contacts and companies separately.
Can Clearbit find email addresses?
Not any more in the way most people remember. Clearbit Connect, which showed an email for a name and company inside Gmail, ended in April 2025. HubSpot enrichment uses first name, last name and work email as inputs to match a contact, so it fills fields around an email you already have rather than finding a missing one.
