Lusha alternative and Lusha competitors compared for teams that only need verified work emails
If your Lusha credits go almost entirely on email reveals, you are paying 9 to 19 cents for each address that reaches your CRM. Type a name and a company domain here instead, get the work email with the company page that backs it, and pay only for verified finds.
Built for SDR teams, founders and agencies who already have the list. Not found, failed and unconfirmed rows are never billed.

What is better than Lusha?
It comes down to one question about your team: do your reps dial the numbers? Lusha is a contact database with a LinkedIn extension, and most of its value sits in direct dials and mobile numbers, which cost 5 credits each. If phones drive your pipeline, the fair swaps are other databases. If your team sends cold email to people it already chose, you are paying database prices for one column.
Stay with a contact database
- Phones and mobiles are the reason you pay
- You build lists by title, seniority and location
- You want intent topics and signals
Compare Apollo, Cognism, UpLead or ZoomInfo. Our Lusha pricing breakdown shows what a phone costs in credits on each plan.
Switch to a finder with verification
- Names already sit in your CRM, a CSV or LinkedIn
- You need a sendable work email for each one
- You want to pay for results, not reveals
That is what we sell: one verified find per address the company backs on its own site, and nothing for the rest.
Is Lusha worth it for email-only prospecting?
Lusha's pricing page (read 8 October 2026) lists Starter at $37.45 a month and Pro from $52.45, billed yearly, with 4,800 and 7,200 credits a year. Revealing an email costs 1 credit. The same credit table lists CRM export at 1 credit per record, so an email that ends up in HubSpot or Salesforce uses two.
On yearly plans every credit arrives on day one and the balance resets at the end of the year. Credits a team does not use in a slow quarter are simply lost, which pushes the real cost per email higher than the numbers below.
-
Lusha Starter, email plus CRM export 18.7 cents per email
$449.40 a year, 4,800 credits, about 2,400 emails sent to a CRM
-
Lusha Pro, email plus CRM export 17.5 cents per email
$629.40 a year, 7,200 credits, about 3,600 emails sent to a CRM
-
Lusha Pro, reveal only 8.7 cents per email
$629.40 a year, 7,200 email reveals
-
EmailExtractor Starter, yearly 2.4 cents per email
$288 a year, 12,000 verified finds
-
EmailExtractor Growth, yearly 1.5 cents per email
$888 a year, 60,000 verified finds, CRM push included
All figures assume every credit or find is used. Lusha numbers are yearly plan prices divided by credits; our yearly plans cost half the monthly rate. On monthly billing our Starter is $49 for 1,000 verified finds, 4.9 cents each, and Growth is $149 for 5,000, about 3 cents. Bars are scaled to the 18.7 cent line.
Lusha competitors compared on what changes the bill
Who are Lusha competitors? For email work the realistic shortlist is Apollo, Hunter and us, and Cognism or ZoomInfo when phones carry the deal. Every number here comes from the vendor's own pricing page or help center, including the rows where Lusha is the better buy.

Where Lusha wins, plainly: phone numbers, a searchable database, a LinkedIn extension and intent signals. We have none of those. If your reps live in the extension, keep Lusha for discovery and run the exported file through bulk email verification to drop dead domains, disposable domains and typos before a send. The other columns are broken down in Apollo.io pricing and Hunter.io pricing, and if RocketReach or UpLead is also on your list, see the RocketReach alternative and UpLead alternative pages.
Teams that move email work off Lusha
They have one thing in common. The list exists before anyone opens a data tool.
Named accounts in the CRM
Accounts and contacts are assigned. Reps need the email filled, and the employee email finder covers several people per account.
A short list of buyers
A founder pitching sixty companies wants the right inbox at each, often the CEO email, not a yearly credit pool.
Client files in bulk
Clients send CSVs of names and companies. Upload, get verified emails back, and bill clients for finds rather than seats.
Records missing an email
Leads with a name and company but no address. The email enrichment tool fills them without a second export credit.
How to switch from Lusha without losing credits
Lusha's FAQ says a cancelled plan keeps its credits until the end of the billing period, so there is no reason to stop early. Use both until renewal and move the email work first.
-
Spend phone credits on phones
Use what is left on Lusha for direct dials, where it is strongest.
-
Upload your next list here
Names and company domains in a CSV. Starter takes 1,000 rows per job, Growth 10,000.
-
Keep the verified rows
Each find shows the page that backs it. Guesses and failed checks stay off the bill.
-
Push to the CRM
Download, or push to HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce on Growth at no extra cost per record.
What the switch costs a five-person team
Lusha Premium, the plan built for five seats, starts at $3,599.40 a year for 40,800 credits. If those five reps only email and push to the CRM, that is about 20,400 emails a year. Growth on yearly billing is $888 for 60,000 verified finds and ten seats. With heavy dialing the comparison is unfair to Lusha. For email it is the whole story.
- Starter, $49 a month or $288 a year: 1,000 verified finds a month, 2 seats, bulk jobs up to 1,000 rows.
- Growth, $149 a month or $888 a year: 5,000 verified finds a month, 10 seats, bulk jobs up to 10,000 rows, push to HubSpot, Pipedrive and Salesforce, scheduled re-verification of saved lists.
- Scale, $399 a month or $2,388 a year: 20,000 verified finds a month, unlimited seats, REST API and webhooks. See the email finder API.
- Never counted: addresses not found, failed checks, unconfirmed pattern guesses and duplicates.
Lusha alternative questions
What is better than Lusha?
For phone numbers and a searchable contact database, the usual swaps are Apollo, ZoomInfo, Cognism and UpLead. For work emails of people you already picked, a per-result email finder is usually cheaper than Lusha, because you pay only for addresses it can back with evidence and an email does not use a second credit when it goes to your CRM.
Who are Lusha competitors?
Lusha competitors split into two groups. Contact databases with phones: Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, Cognism, UpLead, RocketReach, ContactOut, Kaspr and Seamless.AI. Email finders that start from a name and a company domain: Hunter, Snov.io, Anymail Finder and EmailExtractor. Pick the group by whether your reps call or only email.
Is Lusha worth it?
Lusha is worth it for reps who call as often as they email and prospect from LinkedIn with its extension. For email-only outbound it is a pricier route: Pro works out to about 8.7 cents a credit on yearly billing, and an email pushed to the CRM uses two credits. A verified find on our Growth plan costs 1.5 to 3 cents.
Is Lusha better than Apollo?
Lusha is simpler to roll out and prices plans by credit volume with seats included, which suits small teams. Apollo bundles a larger database, sequences and a dialer per seat. For emails only, neither beats a finder that bills per verified address, since both charge credits for reveals that you still have to check before sending.
What tools are similar to Lusha?
Tools similar to Lusha include Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, Cognism, UpLead, Kaspr, ContactOut and RocketReach. They all sell credits to reveal emails and direct dials from a B2B database, usually through a LinkedIn browser extension. If you only need the email column filled for a list you already have, an email finder with verification is the narrower and cheaper tool.
Can I switch from Lusha mid-contract?
You can stop using Lusha any time, but on yearly plans all credits are issued up front and anything unused resets at the end of the year, so the cheapest switch is near renewal. Lusha says cancelled plans keep their credits until the end of the billing period. Run both tools side by side until then.
Pay for verified emails, not for reveals and exports
Bring the names you already have. Every address is checked, and only the ones the company backs count.
